In order to get a perfect patent search, you need to have what's called the 'CLAIM 1' of your invention. This is a definition of your invention, in patenting terms. Once you have the 'CLAIM 1', your patent search can then search whether there are any other inventions in the world that have the same features as your CLAIM 1. If the search comes back clear, then that exact CLAIM 1 may in fact get you a PERFECT PATENT on your invention when filed at the patent office!

 

You should NEVER get a patent search without first getting your CLAIM 1, otherwise the patent search may search the wrong stuff.
