WHY?

Your next big hurdle in The Inventor's Journey™ (and arguably the most important step in the whole Journey) is going to be the Prototype step, where a version of your invention will be built that mimics how your final product will look and function.

But before your Prototype is built, it's incredibly important that your product is designed first, so that that  design can then be executed in your Prototype. It'd a bit like building a house- you design it and plan first- then only build once you know exactly what you're trying to achieve.

In some cases, 3D design at this step can be 3D printed, to help build your prototype.
